I found Nadia Andriu at Fleur Noire on Instagram @nadiatattoer and fell in love with her work. I reached out in 2019, and finally got in with her in March of 2020. Except, Covid. I postponed my appointment and wasn’t able to rebook until July 2021. It was worth the wait. I booked an Airbnb for one night, and spent the next at the Wythe Hotel. I woke up and went to my appointment, then walked all over Brooklyn, grabbed a beer with a friend, ate Milk Bar Pie, and crashed for the night. The next day I rode the ferry (C was making another push so it was the safest/most fun way to travel), stopped in Manhattan for pizza (I think, idk), and then caught my flight home.
